Pro Life My Foot
By: Leeks
So our valiant leader has vetoed a bill to lift the federal ban on stem cell research. i.e. new stem cells from new embryos. I am so tired of theology playing a part in politics. I don’t care if our nation was found on christian principles. We do not live up to them so why do we pick and choose what ones to abide by. Bush should care less about embryos that technically not really living and more about the millions of people in the world that are really struggling because of his policies. Oh and if you see a Pro Life license plate, pleae rear end the car for me.
Seacrest out.

I’m all for people living and I don’t agree with late term abortions or anything like that. Sure I am one to procrastinate but I don’t think a pregnancy should be something someone procrastinates on. If you’re not going to have the kid.. correct it before you get to that stage.
I guess my knowledge of the whole stem cell research is a little hazy but I don’t see what is wrong with it. I mean look at what it did for Cartman and the gang in South Park.. they were able to do great things with embryos.

Your right about us not living up to the standards, and it is impossible for us to, but the point is that it is worth striving for perfection if we cant get there…
