Lacing Them Back Up
By: Brett
Last night I got the urge to look for some local amateur teams to catch on with and see if I could start playing again. I was looking around and found the Clearwater League. I posted a bulletin on their website and got a response back later on in the night. Turns out the guy who is running one of the teams is from Rochester, MN and is looking for some pitchers. I’m really excited to lace them back up and start throwing again.
I had received some calls from the St. Paul Saints and Winnipeg Goldeyes, but with work kind of holding me down here for the time being, it should wouldn’t work out right now. I would love to have the opportunity to go and play up near home again and if everything pans out down here and unfolds the way I have planned, I could see myself playing up there next year, if I get the chance too. But for now I am pumped about getting back out on the field. I really wish everyone from the Xpress or “Halos” or whatever team they are putting together up there, could just move down here and then we would dominate.

Sounds sweet, bro. But are you joining the league for the baseball or the beer?

Sweet, if they need an almost thirty, right hander, with a nasty tennis ball slider let them know that i am available. I am over priced and I have a bad attitude though. At least that is what John Baggs said when I was traded to Gold Squad in 1997. Dont think much has changed. hahahaha.

Do they need a 6′ 2″ , right handed, good looking guy, with a laser rocket arm behind the plate? I could play for sure. Brett you would just have to buy me a glove and some gear being that you broke my glove years ago. You’re probably wondering where the gear comes into play for breaking my glove. Well there is a thing called “interest” and it’s piled up against you over the years!
