What Is The Point?

18
July

I was wondering what the point is of having “Democrats” and “Republicans”.. Maybe I’m completely oblivious to how our government works, but wouldn’t it work just fine if we abolished the parties and just let our congressman/women take stands on their own? What is the benefit of having a party when in today’s current state, we have people voting for the opposing sides. I do understand that making a party, allows for more backing on certain bills/laws, but don’t you think that if someone drafts up sound legislation that it will pass regardless. People won’t be influenced to vote one way or the other (Democrat/Republican) they will vote for the person that has like

Did He Really Say That?

7
June

“It’s much better to work together than to create tensions,” Bush said.

Well no shit! Excuse my language but thank you Master of the Obvious. Where has this reasoning been? Iraq is probably wondering what in the hell they have to do in order to work together. We have been stuck in this idea that it’s easier to just goto war with someone instead of working with them. It is refreshing to finally see that we can work together with another country, even though it did take another super power of the world to bring about this idea for

Ron Paul vs. Giuliani & The GOP

18
May

Okay, this site has officially become more stale than my site (yes, that was a shameless plug), so I’m taking it upon myself to get another thread going. I’m going to leave my viewpoints out of it for the moment though. I want to see what people think about Ron Paul, one of the Republican presidential candidates. He seems to be gaining momentum primarily through Internet “fan clubs”, and a chunk of the Republican establishment does not seem particularly pleased by

Revoke War Authorization

9
May

Okay, folks. It’s time to hold the doughhead in the Oval Office accountable for his actions. Whether you agree with him or not, the entire will of the people (kind of/sort of the same group that elected him) should be taken under consideration in how much further this war, as well our country’s pride and reputation, spiral out of control. That said, I encourage all to take action and send a letter supporting your stance on the war. You can go here to support revoking the authorization for war:

Fire Ann Coulter

4
May

This is hilarious. The insane blonde headed ditz on Fox News is always degrading to liberals or someone that doesn’t see her point of view. The other night on Hannity and Colmes, Ann Coulter was spewing all of this garbage over the Rage Against The Machine incident. Obviously Rage Against the Machine isn’t left or right, they are complete anarchy but Ann went on to say that these types of bashings and threats are only made towards Conservatives and never against liberals. Here is what she said:

COULTER: … talking to these sorts of liberal lunatics, I mean, it never comes from right-wingers. It’s always from left-wingers.

COULTER: They missed with me because they throw like girls, but these people are animals and to be ginning them up all the time — and you never see it the other way. I promise you, Michael Moore can walk unmolested through Bob Jones University, through the entire state of Mississippi. It is always one side. And I don’t think that’s helping Democrats’ P.R. campaign to look like they’re civilized people.

COULTER: No, no, no, I’m sick of this, “Both sides, both sides.” You name a conservative who’s been attacked on a college campus. You name — or rather, a liberal. You name a liberal or a Democrat whose campaign headquarters have been destroyed, which happens regularly to Republicans, which happens during the campaigns. No, this is not both sides.

Well Miss Fox New Demon Spawn - “A 19-year-old Louisiana State University student was being held Friday on $1 million bail, accused of planning an attack against Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.” - More on this story at
