Someone Stole Our House

22
July

Got some pretty upstetting but also refreshing news yesterday. We were looking at getting a house out in New Port Richey. Had our eyes set on this awesome 3 bedroom/2 bathroom home, 2 car garage, huge back patio, fenced in yard. It was listed at 139k and has been on the market for about 5 months apparently. Our Realtor told us it was listed near Memorial day, so not sure what’s up that but anyways. We were going to plan on offering about 130 or so and see what happens. At the last minute our Realtor calls and tells us that someone else has put a bid on the house and that we’d have to at least offer the asking

What Public Schooling Lacks

20
July

There is a growing problem with the public school system it seems. I have heard or read many stories about parents and teachers claiming that in the last 4 or 5 years, they have seen a dramatic decline in the creativity and critical thinking students. What is going wrong with our Public schooling system? Why are kids that think different or act different punished and exiled from a system that should support creative thinking and outward

Digg Users Skew Information

20
July

A recent post on Digg was titled “RIP Fifth Amendment Of U.S. Constitution, 1791-2007“. Everyone on Digg, because of the title alone, started to “digg” the story only because it had to deal with Bush, Impeachment and Loss of Rights. I’m not sure if any of them actually read the “Executive Order” or what. Going through the order that was released on the 17th of July, all I could see was an order that was directed at people that were imposing violence and in turn, under minded the “War on

Don’t Be A Flatliner Dude

July

This is probably one of the funniest skits I have seen on Crank Yankers. If you’re not all that familiar with Crank Yankers, it’s a show where they have had comedians call up or get called up, and just mess with the caller. Then they act out these little puppets to the call. In this video a lady has called what she thought was UPS but instead got the Crank Yanker team. This video has a lot of history in the CK Townhome era. Many a nights of beer-pong and watching this skit.

Did He Really Say That?

7
June

“It’s much better to work together than to create tensions,” Bush said.

Well no shit! Excuse my language but thank you Master of the Obvious. Where has this reasoning been? Iraq is probably wondering what in the hell they have to do in order to work together. We have been stuck in this idea that it’s easier to just goto war with someone instead of working with them. It is refreshing to finally see that we can work together with another country, even though it did take another super power of the world to bring about this idea for

Biggest Tool In The World

6
June

Skip Bayless might be the worst person on TV today. Setting everyone from Fox News aside, this guys is the complete incompetent package. I understand that on these debate shows like “1st and 10“, one person is suppose to side one way and the other is to oppose but Skip brings that to a whole new level. On todays show, every argument I couldn’t help but laugh at this guy. He has years of experience writing about and talking about sports but obviously hasn’t stepped on a playing surface

I’m Obsessed

2
June

My recent vacation to New York was awesome. I got to meet Reena’s entire family and also do some sight seeing. We went to a couple parks around her house. One of which was Green Lakes. It was carved out by a melting glacier. The entire lake is a deep green color and solid stone bedding. We rented a row boat for an hour on the small lake, then we walked around the entire thing in about 45 minutes. It was a very awesome
