Classic Yankee Game

We all know my extreme hatred for the Yankees, but I can appreciate how they get the opposing teams fans into an absolute frenzy. Last night I went to the Devil Rays - Yankees game. Aside from the D-Rays winning the game on an 7th inning grandslam by Carl Crawford, which was amazing to see, I was front row for a battle royale. A group of kids around the age of 19 and 20 maybe were looped up on life and brought brooms to the game. Well during the exciting grand slam this one kid came running down the isle swinging the broom over head, well actually right at head level. Leeks v. Brett Part Deux

So it is go time tonight.  Brett and I are going to match up in Part Deux of our BW3s wings, beer, itunes and video bowling.  Part One of the matchup ended up being a draw.  I dominated early with the squiggy ball and then brett found his stroke and dominated after i was drunk and dancing to the itunes jukebox.  Which by the way is a god send.

Best Beer Ever

I have come to the conclusion the Pabst Blue Ribbon is the best beer ever made.  I feel that as you get older, the beers that you used to make fun of your dad for drinking, becomes your favorite beer.  Why wouldnt you want to drink a beer that won a blue ribbon at the Chicago Worlds Fair in 18whatever.

With Failure Comes Success

I was reading this article off a very insightful website (www.steve-olson.com). He is always writing about some very complex ideas that just seem to run through his head. This idea that he talks about came to him while sitting at lunch. Does every success come with failure? Do you first have to fail before you can learn how to succeed? I believe as a general assumption yes. How many people can just go into something for the first time and imagine of perfecting that field. I know when I first started designing websites and just about up from a year ago I finally got the overall picture. I created some HORRIBLE sites but at the time I thought they worked and were ok. I didn’t really “fail” in that sense but it wasn’t as if I had succeeded in creating a functional
